We are an association of people of different professions and characters, with different life stories and experiences, with different numbers of children and titles. We are connected by love for nature, trust in children, sense of humor and respect for each other, for nature, children, surroundings and moral values.
Creating a respectful environment is the key to freedom and education in the Mill. We identify with the thoughts and work of all who followed this path ahead of us: Komensky, Montessori, Matejicek, Novackova. That is, those for whom the center of attention was children, their nature and development. Development according to their possibilities, abilities and desires. We are sure that they will grow into mature, adult personalities, with open minds, capable of collaboration and critical thinking, able to share their success unselfishly with others. With an unshakable inner motivation to live a full, joyful life as we know it.
We live in an old mill. The mill has been in its place for several centuries, formerly called "Šteflův" - so it is recorded in the old maps, the so-called "imperial prints" from the beginning of the 19th century. In 40th years of the 19th century a weaving mill was set up in it; later, it was ground again, the linen and hemp cloth was dyed and the mill was milled again. After World War II, the feed was mixed in the mill. And then grinded, most of the socialist years the mill, which at that time was called the "Cooperative Mill", survived as a backup object of civil defense. After the velvet revolution in 1989 he was asleep for several years. At the beginning of the 21st century he occasionally held a cultural event, benefit concert, theater or small festival. Finally, the mill was reconstructed into the "Natural Center MILL Radouňka", which took place in the years 2011 - 2015, with the support of the Operational Program Environment, Priority Axis 7.
